Grape Flares

This is very funny, and very simple. You will need:

  1. A microwave
  2. Lots of seedless green grapes
  3. A knife
  4. A microwaveable plate

This is what to do:

  1. Get a grape, and cut it almost in half cross-ways (as opposed to lengthways), cutting through all the flesh but leaving the two halves attatched by a little bit of skin.
  2. Place it on the microwaveable plate in the centre, juicy bits down , like this:
  3. Put the grapes in the microwave, on full power and wait.
  4. Watch what happens.

What should happen:

After a few seconds, the two halves of the grape will be blown apart and the flare will cease. This procedure has been conducted a number of times with no apparent damage to the microwave, but if you blow yourself up and set your house on fire then it's not my fault.
